We are looking for:

A new team member for one of our portfolio companies that is taking a completely new approach to autonomous driving by aiming to launch the first driverless fleet on European public streets. They have recently raised a $95m funding round from leading European and U.S. investors to deliver on the mission.

What will keep you challenged?

  • Owning the relationship with an external accountant and tax advisor and preparing the ongoing financial accounting in Datev
  • Supporting and coordinating the preparation of month-end closings and annual financial statements with external accountant
  • Supporting with the “purchase to pay” process on a daily basis
  • Being the main contact point for invoicing and payment issues with other departments and external supplier
  • Managing AP and prepare payment cycles
  • Managing employee expenses and credit cards
  • Ensuring compliance of documents with accounting and tax regulations
  • Continuously reviewing processes and tools to ensure the efficiency of accounting processes
  • Supporting with the implementation of reporting structures and processes

Which traits contribute to your success?

  • +3 years of experience in an Accounting role
  • Knowledge of German GAAP
  • Motivated and self-driven as well as structured and detailed-oriented working style
  • Hands-on mentality and independent decision-making 
  • Excellent oral and written language skills in German and English
  • Nice to haves: Experienced Datev, Excel and Pleo user
