About the Job
We’re looking for an experienced Climate Advisory & Data (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies and develop its climate strategy. In your day-to-day work, you’ll focus on conducting and “productising” Carbon Footprint Calculations and get the opportunity to contribute to various projects.
Join our portfolio company, a German ClimateTech company focused on decarbonising the global food industry. The startup’s visionary software allows manufacturers and retailers to calculate their emission scores and gain valuable insight into the environmental impact of their entire supply chain.
In this role, you’ll:
- Calculate and evaluate Carbon Footprints (CCFs and PCFs)
- Collaborate with clients for accurate data collection, correct calculations, and analysis
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the GHG Protocol and SBTi
- Empower clients to achieve their climate goals
- Generate data insights to create emission reduction plans
- Support customers in setting and reaching Net Zero Targets
- “Productise” climate calculations and expand our product suite
- Work hand in hand with users to co-develop, test, and launch new software products
- Collaborate with our tech teams to gradually software-integrate our product offering
Your Profile
- You have conducted Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) or Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) calculations for large corporate clients or worked in a closely related field of climate advisory and data
- You have 3+ years of client-facing experience in consulting, startups, or similar high-paced environments
- You possess strong quantitative skills and are comfortable working with complex datasets
- You excel at understanding client needs and building strong relationships
- You are organised, reliable, and can clearly communicate your ideas
- You are fluent in German and English
Please note that we’re looking for support in the Berlin office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work in the EU is required.
