About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated Cyber Security Analyst (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies. The focus will be on analysing clients' cyber risks in order to deliver actionable recommendations for heightened security.

In your day-to-day work you’ll be the key in between the cyber and commercial team, as a client facing cyber security expert.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of clients cyber risk and assess the maturity level of their information security, and deliver the recommendations through compelling presentations
  • Innovate and contribute to the unique cybersecurity product suite such as vulnerability scanning, phishing exercises, and tabletop exercises
  • Expand your knowledge on cyber insurance insurability requirements, and support the account management team as a security subject matter expert
  • Maintain up-to-date expertise in the current cyberthreat landscape, as well as the latest risk mitigation measures

Your Profile

  • A minimum of two years of experience in a cybersecurity role
  • Previous experience in cybersecurity consulting, as well table-top exercises
  • A broad and deep understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, controls and remediation strategies following established frameworks such as; ISO27001, NIST CSF, BSI rundschutz, and/or OWASP ASVS, MITRE ATT&CK and/or D3FEND)
  • Programming language skills in Python language at a basic level
  • An ability to communicate complex security threats, verbally and in a written form, in an easily-understood and actionable manner
  • Proficiency in German and English is required to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders, internally and externally with insurance and distribution partners
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent STEM subjects

Please note that we’re looking for support in our Berlin office. Eligibility to work in the EU is required.
