About the Job
We are looking for a motivated intern to join our Platform and ESG team to expand the connections to all relevant players in the VC ecosystem, drive the further development of our strategic partnerships and corporate relations, and support executing our ESG strategy.
In your daily work, you will focus on supporting our Head of ESG and Platform with the following:
- Platform: The expansion of the network platform through the nourishment of the existing relations and the establishment of new ones with industry players, the conception of strategic partnerships, the execution of external communications, and the planning of various event formats.
- ESG: Data collection and analysis of ESG metrics, research of policies to support the startups within our portfolio, perform materiality analysis of prospective investments, and support with the drafting of external communications.
As part of the Network Platform and ESG team, you will operate between several stakeholders – from the investment team, the community of portfolio founders, the investor relations team, our corporate partners, and the extended innovation ecosystem – and work on all relevant aspects of a value-adding VC.

In this role, you’ll:
- Support the development of strategic partnerships from conceptualisation and relationship building to preparing thematic workshops and briefings on various investment and innovation topics.
- Collect and structure data on various industries and companies.
- Actively plan and execute event formats from conception to managing the guest list and invitations to the realisation in collaboration with external partners and service providers.
- Prepare content, e.g., social media posts, longer articles, and presentations for Platform and ESG communications.
- Learn about ESG materiality and actively participate in research of material issues for our portfolio and prospects.
- Collect, transpose, and analyse large datasets of ESG metrics.
- Learn about carbon accounting, offsetting, and environmental management
Your Profile
- You are a generalist at heart: you thrive in tackling a diverse range of projects and learning about different business areas
- Excellent oral and written communication skills: You are not scared of talking to partners and can clearly articulate ideas and concepts in writing with minimum supervision
- You enjoy research and have the capability of writing clear and well-structured briefings and reports
- You have a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and a proven ability to maintain high data entry and analysis accuracy
- You feel comfortable using G-Suite and have basic knowledge of working with formulas for data analysis
- You can follow instructions, meet deadlines, and are open to constructive feedback
- Fluent in English, German is nice to have
Please note that we are looking for support in our Berlin office. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
