About the Job

We’re looking for a motivated First Customer Care Officer (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies and support its Customer Care.

In your day-to-day work, you’ll focus on providing a 5-star experience to the German customers, as well as getting the opportunity to contribute to various projects.

Join our portfolio company: A French petcare company focusing on cat and dog owners to provide a monthly subscription based pet insurance. It not only grants chat functionalities with vets but also direct payment solutions when visiting a vet.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Provide an excellent experience to our German customers, by handling inquiries in a timely and quality manner via support channels
  • Process pet insurance claims accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with the company policies and procedures in collaboration with veterinarians, policyholders, and internal teams
  • Implement, adapt, and identify areas for improvement in the claims processing and customer service procedures 
  • Make recommendations for process improvements in collaboration with the Ops Team
  • Collect feedback from customers, identify and escalate improvement ideas to the Product Team
  • Be a direct Ambassador for the product, mission, and values

Your Profile

  • Several years of experience as a vet assistant, claims officer or in customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoyment working collaboratively with other teams
  • Proactive and autonomous way of working
  • Able to thrive and prioritise effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Fluent communication skills in German and English, in both spoken and written form

Please note that we are looking for support in the Berlin office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
