About the Job

We’re looking for a motivated Technical Program Manager (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies and develop the core e-commerce platform for the company.

In your day-to-day work, you’ll focus on supporting the implementation of integration processes and get the opportunity to contribute to various projects. 

Join our portfolio company: A German company focused on accelerating the transition to renewable energy through solar systems. The fast-growing business aims to become the market leader in the solar industry, providing customers a full range of services: From digital solar solution configuration to online sales of components and installation of complete solar solutions.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Develop and optimise the core e-commerce platform for the company (currently WooCommerce)
  • Technically accompany the introduction of new software across the system
  • Supervise and develop automation processes
  • Create and manage data mappings, and document tasks and processes in JIRA and Confluence
  • Work closely with other departments to create specifications
  • Support major projects that will further transform our portfolio company
  • Independently plan and implement major project milestones
  • Design and optimise relevant business processes

Typical tasks

  • Support the implementation of integration processes, with the help of various middleware products
  • Be the interface for clients, solution partners and external providers
  • Constantly re-evaluate and improve processes and tools

Your Profile

  • Great interest in IT and business processes and 2 years of professional experience as a project manager in e-commerce
  • Previous work experience in a customer environment with shop systems and e-commerce platforms
  • Experience with relevant project management tools and services as well as with billing, accounting and time tracking systems
  • Good internal and external stakeholder management skills
  • Track record in managing one or more project teams
  • Previous work experience in a customer centric environment with shop systems and e-commerce platforms
  • Strong analytical skills, fast perception and able to work autonomously and 
  • You ideally come from a consultancy, system integrator or large agency background
  • Commitment, initiative and creativity to bring projects to success in time and budget
  • Familiarity with agile working methods and confident use of tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English

Please note that we are looking for support in the Berlin office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
