Investor Relations: How does a fund attract its investors? - with Maike Haase, Head of Investor Relations and Fund Finance at Project A | PAP#043

Founders know Project A as an investor, as the one who gives money. However, it is not our money that we invest in promising companies, but mostly the capital of the so-called LPs, the Limited Partners. But how does an investor like Project A raise the money for its funds? Maike Haase, Head of Investor Relations and Fund Finance at Project A is explaining it in this episode. Roughly divided, there are four different types of investors, and all of them contribute not only capital but also other benefits to the fund, from which the founders profit very much in the end.
One interesting learning that Maike Haase has had since she has been doing investor relations with us: The LPs ask questions that are very similar to those we ask before we invest in ventures. But then there are also unusual questions, where we sometimes wonder. But listen for yourself!
