Project A Ventures engages in Tictail

  • Berlin-based company builder invests 600,000 euros in DIY e-commerce platform
  • Expert involvement in key operational areas

Berlin/ Stockholm, November 12, 2013. Project A Ventures, a Berlin-based company builder, invests 600,000 euros in the Swedish start-up, Tictail. Project A Ventures joins existing investors, including Balderton Capital, Klaus Hommels and others.

The investment is to secure Project A as a strategic partner, they will be sharing their operational expertise in key areas such as Performance Marketing and Business Intelligence. Furthermore, Florian Heinemann, Project A’s co-founder and managing director, will be joining the Tictail advisory board

Tictail is a free DIY e-commerce platform available worldwide. For established retailers, start-ups and individuals alike, Tictail provides all necessary tools to create an online shop within a few minutes. In September, Tictail launched its app store with additional features, which is also open for external developers.
