New York, August 9th, 2018. The health messaging startup klara.com today announces the closing of its series A financing round led by FirstMark Capital. The renowned venture capitalist, who is invested in companies such as Airbnb, InVision, Pinterest, and Shopify, is joining the investor base, with partner Amish Jani becoming a member of the Klara board. The seed investors Project A, Lerer Hippeau, Atlantic Labs, and Creandum are also participating in the round, as well as Zac Weinberg and Nat Turner (Flatiron-Health), and Clark Valberg, who are leading entrepreneurs in the digital health industry.
