About the Job
We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Specialist – Cleanroom Environment (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies.
In your day-to-day work, you will focus on ensuring efficient and effective HVAC system maintenance while also having the opportunity to contribute to various projects.

In this role, you’ll:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems in cleanroom and facility areas.
- Troubleshoot air handling units, chillers and PCW, (de)humidifiers, HEPA filtration systems, and associated control equipment.
- Ensure compliance with cleanroom environmental specifications including but not limited to temperature, humidity, and pressure differentials.
- Maintain the CDA and vacuum system.
- Work closely with facility and production engineers to ensure optimal environmental conditions for sensitive microchip production.
- Maintain and calibrate building management systems (BMS) or SCADA and HVAC monitoring tools.
- Document all inspections, repairs, and maintenance.
- Support HVAC system upgrades and commissioning of new cleanroom facility equipment.
- Ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance in all HVAC operations.
- Site management of HVAC during the construction of the cleanroom.
Your Profile
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting in industrial or high-tech environments.
- Demonstrated experience in cleanroom HVAC systems (ISO Class 5–8 environments preferred).
- Strong knowledge of airflow design, pressure balancing, filtration systems, and contamination control.
- Proficiency in reading technical schematics, blueprints, and understanding BMS software.
- Vocational or technical training in HVAC or mechanical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Fluent communication skills in English and German.
Please note that we are looking for support in the Aachen office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
