About the Job
We’re looking for an experienced Chemical Management Specialist (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies.
In your day-to-day work, you will focus on ensuring efficient and effective chemical safety, storage, and disposal/waste management, particularly within a cleanroom environment while also having the opportunity to contribute to various projects.

In this role, you’ll:
- Manage and oversee the safe storage, handling, and disposal of specialty gases, solvents, acids, and bases.
- Implement and monitor safety protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and cleanroom requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of chemical storage systems as well as UPW systems and process service water.
- Train and supervise staff on proper chemical handling procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the safe integration of chemical processes into the production environment.
- Site management of wastewater treatment, scrubber system and gas farm installation during the construction of the cleanroom
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field and demonstrable experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical management, preferably in a cleanroom or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of chemical safety regulations and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with chemical handling equipment and emergency response protocols.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Please note that we are looking for support in the Aachen office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
