Key Account Manager DACH (m/f) – Berlin

Project A is a Berlin-based early-stage investor and operational VC in the digital technology space. With financial support and operational expertise, Project A helps startups to build up competences in key areas such as IT/Product, Performance Marketing, Business Intelligence and Organization Building, and thus contributes to their sustainable success. Project A supports entrepreneurs in building companies such as Catawiki, Contorion, Eyeota, Lostmy.name, Nu3, Spryker, Tictail, WorldRemit, and ZenMate.

We are looking for:

A new team member for one of our portfolio companies.

Your Tasks

  • Account management of german existing clients
  • Consulting how to enable them to generate maximum added value out of the cutting-edge SaaS services
  • Communication of the product of our portfolio enterprise as an accessible, comprehensible and intuitive solution, that enables business excellence through retail and marketing management
  • Finding creative solutions for the best possible use of the product as well as their confident and convincing presentation
  • Provide creative feedback and ideas to optimize all relevant KPIs
  • Sparring partner for retailers and a solid understanding of their needs and pain points
  • Close collaboration with the Account Executives, the BI and Operation Teams to create an all-round service
  • Development of the clients through Cross- and Up-Selling

Your Profile

  • You hold a University degree and have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Key Account Management in the retail industry
  • You consistently meet quotas and revenue targets
  • You are experienced in managing complex sales cycles
  • You know how to convince with great negotiation skills and high social competence as well as excellent communication skills
  • You are very familiar with the structures, hierarchies, strategies and market influences as well as market movements of the retail trade
  • You are experienced with Salesforce, MS Office and other sales productivity tools
  • Willingness to travel
  • You communicate fluently in German and English
